| Donald Bauer The Winning Run! With the score tied 4-4 vs Coronado a passed ball provided Donald the chance he needed, he sprinted home. Donald safely slid in headfirst just ahead of the tag and made the score 5-4 keeping Wheat Ridge's State Championship hopes alive. After the dust settled and adrenaline stopped Donald was left with the aftermath. A bloody pinky with permanent ligament damage. Surgery was successful and Donald is back on the field for his senior Football & Baseball seasons. (5-5-07) |
